It stuck me today, it stuck me hard;
What makes man selfish or was he born the same?
It seems like an insecurity, always at the guard
To accumulate, to popularity, name, fame.
Reasons may differ but tendencies don’t
Be a small trader or big business Mind
Young head or individuals grown
Rise up, before anyone else reveal what you should find
I wonder, and I ask myself again
Till what day shall you keep your trust
And wait for drought to vanish with rains
And hear humanity’s call which they must
I hope and I pray that I don’t break
And that humanity doesn’t suits and adapts
Because that put my trust at stake
Of a place where love, unconditional rafts.
